18" JL AUDIO W3's

I just got two JL 18" w3's and I need to make a box. They say that it should be about 8ft3 for ported tuned to 28 hz and 6 ft3 for sealed. Now im pretty sure that I want to make the box ported, but i dont exactly know what specs I need to make the box to got best results. Any sugestions??

Thanks

Your gonna want to design the enclosure around what you will be using the sub for. All out SPL is gonna be a higher tune and everyday listening will be a lower tune. That being said your listening habits are gonna come into play as well :P. What do you listen to and what amp are you gonna run to them? How much space do you want to sacrifice in the car?
