Fi Recone vs Team PSi ? whos better for me?

hello,
so i have a RE SX- HC was custom built sub by me about 5 years ago
shes getting a bit old and is very! broken in!
now like i said its got a RE HC motor in it and a SX 12 spoke basket along with a cone system of the SX,

now i wanna recone it and bring her back to life!
whom shold i go with?
Team psi=
15'' recone kit 3 stiff spiders 1400W RMS recone dual 2 ohms for 150$
Fi Audio=
15'' recone kit 3 stiff spiders 1450w RMS recone dual 2 ohms for 100$ aluminum high temp coil and so on and Fi will brand it as a fi sub

now to me sounds likie Fi is the much much better way to go and ive hurd some real nice things about them!
so if you have ever worked with any of these guys let me know what you think!!!
Cheers :Rob

i'd go with the psi recone. ive heard many good thing about them, and when you sell the sub, you can sell it as a psi speaker.... guys in the states are going wild about psi now days.

also, i dont have anything against fi and they make good products. i just believe there are more availible options with team psi than fi (custom coil config, soft parts, spiders, etc)

seeing as Dave from Team PSI was one of the three original partners in RE audio ( and the only one of the three that didnt want to sell) your more likely to get an optimal recone from him. Also i highly recommend atleast double sewn leads(i believe he offers up to 4) and for a small fee he will badge your recone pretty much whatever you want. Either way though with either company you really cant go wrong, ive used both and have nothing but good things to say for either.

yes i was thinking that too, i dont see PSi making me a better one plus fi will give me 50 watts RMS more then psi for 50$ cheaper..
and i need all that power since i have a DSC2000.1d supper class MB quart amp pushing out 2311W RMS at 13.8V !!

either way, you wont be seeing more than 1900 watts outta that amp realistically.

How can you be sure of that? i mean everything from the surround to the voice coils could be different. Just cause there both D2 dosnt mean there actually 2ohm coils. My FiQ d2 when wired im parrell reads 1.5 cause the coil they use for those subs are actually like 2.4, there are tons of variables in surrounds to.

I would save $50. The difference is going to be miniscule. When the Fi blows, buy PSI.
