Low power sq?

Hi all,

A friend has asked me to change his speakers in his car. He odes not want to touch the stock deck (not yet until I convince him anyway!). So his deck is 40w per channel.

With that in mind are there any speakers that are worth looking into that handle 30 - 40w? Looking for sq obviously and can spend a good amount on them if need be. Size is 6.5"

Thanks for any replies!

For that wattage I would recommend Pioneer.

Needing a Component set or Coaxal?

well I was not aware I could get a good set of components that didn't require an external amp. Is there such a set?

No Sir...

All componets will need a real amp - not deck power... That is if you desire quality sound, stronger deeper bass, at higher outputs with out burning your tweeters...

That's is what I thought.

Any recommendations for low power coaxial sets other than pioneer?
