haha. what can you expect form a 50 dollar sub. from the rewiews i have herd they do sound good, and for 50 bucks of you only feed each sub 300Wrms they sound good. i may be wrong, someone may be pushing theirs harder.

cant say anything for the 12's, but i got a 15" maw, and for the price, you cant beat it. heck even for twice the price, you'ld be hard pressed.
I know people who have been running maw's for months, and no reliability problems. check out the sound solution fourms. mach 5 has their own section. Mark the owner of the company is a great guy and will answer any questions you may have.

If you are looking for a sub to impress your friends, sound great, cheap price, and not require a $400+ amp, mach5 has a great selection for ya. I may sell off my current 2 12"s to purchase 4 of his. Small wall power, baby.

I hooked the MAW-12's I bought my mom up to my HT reciever and did a 40-0hz sweep to warm them up a bit (waiting for a box for my moms car).. Seems like they have pretty good excursion and there was hardly any watts going to them.

Completely agree, the mach5's do the job and then some.

A single MAW15 in 2.4cf with over 800 watts RMS will do at least a 136 in a 92 celca with the seats folded, and sound good doing it too.

My pair of mach5 MJ18's have survived 1200 watts RMS a PIECE off a Yorkville pro amp for an hour and a half. It's been a long time since I heard a sub setup this dynamic too.

The only thing is that they dont have *tons* of excursion, so you cant slam them with ridiculous power, but from what I've read, the 12's will take about 400 watts RMS a piece in say 1.2cf, and the 15's will take an easy 600 watts RMS in 2.0cf.

I've been sorta following the production of a new sub coming outta Mach 5, it's an SPL-geared driver, and it's absolutely massive... you guys may have heard of it. The best part is that it's a "budget" spl driver. It's in sort of a testing phase among a couple people in on the project, but if all goes well it looks like a potential force to be reckoned with.

And a few more

YA the MAW line is ok. We had the MAW-12 and tested it and is was fine with the recommended power but as soon as you started to get over the power handling there was evident cone noise. Mark is a good guy though and knows his stuff 100%
