so on Facebook is there a way......

i do not use facebook so i am clueless. but need to know......

if I add you, and you post something new on your page is there a way to automatically make a post on my page saying so and so has posted this or that on his page?

is there an app or feature or something for this?

for example, i am a car audio enthusiast and i've added my fav shops in the area to my friends (or whatever it's called) list. When these shops post some news about sales, etc on their page I want to be automatically notified (on my page) of whatever it is they posted on theirs.

is this do-able?

ya. usually people make whats called a 'group' on facebook. when you join that group, the admin of that group can basically send a PM to everyone is a part of that group about anything..

so for example, if you join the group called "JL Audio", then 'JL Audio' has the ability to send you a PM about up coming products if they choose to. It is the admins decision to make the effort to PM

no. you personally have to post on your wall, groups wall, or wherever. cannot be done automatically.

Ya, barts right... if you become "friends" or part of a "group" then post in your wall, it will show up in all their "home page". And if they respond to something in that homepage it will automatically show up on your wall and vice-versa.

hmmmmm so for example,

if Paul is a member of "team killahertz" group and I am a member of that group as well, when Paul posts updates on his page there will be an automatic notification on "team killaherts" group page? and I will be able to see it?

You should be able to look at the "news feed" tab under your pic to see all the new posts from your friends.

WOW...CCA only has 9 friends on Facebook!!!
