For those of you going to the SQ portion of the CCA show. I wanted a little input on what CD you guys would like used. I'm leaning toward making a disc for the show containing music and tracks that I know will test everyones sound system. I would make enough copies for all the judges (which would need to be returned after the show). This disc would be a bit for bit copy, not an MP3 or similar format.

Suggestions?

 

I will send you guys out a free USACi CD to use if you like...it has liner notes etc. everything you need!

 

I'm not sure if that would be aloud. I know we can't use the IASCA disc. So I would guess the same rules will apply to USACi.

 

i would look at what thay have on the cd ,then see why it is there

Sweep , highs , bass , drums , nothing

 

Make sure you have a zero bit track to test for background noise

 

How many do you need?
I have a 3rd party professionally made CD for sound quality containing some of the tracks off the focal/Iasca disk.
It is legit its just not UASCI or IASCA.

The company I work for made them for Europe( its all in English )
