MONSTER RCA cables?

Hello, curious if anyone has had a poor experience with Monster "Ultra" car audio cables? I'm looking for decent twisted pair construction with a well-built, sturdy head termination, and these seem to fit the bill. They're cheap, so unless anyone objects, I'm going for 'em...

my last set of monster RCA's were disapointing.

I had the 'Monster MPC I306 6C-6M'

one of the 6 heads was mis-sized leading to poor amp connections., and the head/wire connections were not the sturdiest. there was never any noise issue though.
as well as this, the other 5 heads are too tight, making installation difficult.

i have since moved to audison RCA's and they are perfect. aside from being overpriced.

you guys just plug the rcas in? and leave them? and expect them to stay? yes good ones wont fall out. actually most. but i never do all that work and hope they will stay connected. a little piece of tape gives you sound of minds lol. very simple fix. i didnt know people hooked them up and hoped for the best? i thought everyone taped them lol

i'm saying the build quality was poor to the point that 1 of the six was oversized to the point where there was no solid connection, tape or no tape. the others were tight to the point where you could barely get them on/off.

i would definitely not buy again. audison's on the other hand are exactly how RCA's should be.

mine are always taped in the dash.

i have stinger in my ride.
they fit perfect on all connections
i have had monster home and when i went to move a few years ago and was removing the rca from my tv it was soo tight it pulled the ground shroud right off the board of my tv. now i didnt just pull, i was twisting at the same time as pulling. after it happened i remembered that they were a little too tight when i installed them.
dont have the tv anymore, left it to the ex. so who cares

i would not use the monster cheap line ever again

I have the monster alpinr type R, alpie type X and Lightning audio cables, the monster is ok, again construction isnt is nice as the others. I find that the dedicated car audio companies like lightning have more shielding nice metal rca ends etc. (actually the nices of the bunch are the type X cables but they are more expensive and just pretty)

I've got some monsters that are run in my project car (not an audio project) and have been sitting for like 3 years. I used them for about 5 years before that. We'll see how they work when it's back on the road. lol. I'm not defending or bashing them, personally I'd never buy them and even that pair I got for free.

I've made cheap rca cables myself and seen crappy ones you use to hook up a vcr installed and never have I heard of those falling out. If you have to tape them, something is wrong with them.

The Monster quality control is usually bullet proof... they used to make product in North America but now they outsource so i assume they have established QC steps.

As a company they are miserable human beings, an I would never buy any product from them, Noel Lee will never profit because of me. If your concern is simply quality and noise rejection there are many other options
