Question Best budget minded 5/five channel amp?

Hello everyone,

Just got 2002 Audi TT Quattro and am looking at re-wiring the entire system with after market equipment. Wondering what's a good 5 channel amp that won't send me to the poor house. The car is small so I'm trying to stick with one amp rather than a 4 channel with separate sub amp. Trying to stay in the sub $500 range if possible for the amp.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I don't think you can beat the Alpine PDX-5. Small, great sounding, and I believe sub $500. Even if it isn't below $500, it isn't much above and it is small.

I'll check pricing on that one. There's also an Alpine MRX-V60 I was looking at and it's $399 at BestBuy and FutureShop. Doesn't look too bad for the price.

That's a nice amp and I have been trying to find one used in my price range.
