CX350 - Any good?

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum (sorry if this is in the wrong section), but I could not find a topic about the Boss CX350 amp.

I have 2 T112s running at about 800 watts RMS (Rockford Fosgate punch 800a2 amp).

I wanted to get new speakers for my car because the sub totally kills my mids/highs.

I was looking to pick up 2 polk db651s and 2 polk db521s for my car (2006 Matrix).

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Boss CX350 amp. According to SonicElectronix reviews its alright, but to be honest I wanted a better opinion. I didnt want to spend too much cash, and this seems like a good deal (Maybe too good, if you know what I mean).

If anyone could share their 2 cents, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,

cLutch

I think I changed my mind.

After some more research I have found 2 other ampilfiers (they cost a bit more, but thats ok). One is the Kenwood KAC-8405 and the other is the Rockford Fosgate PRIME R300-4.

Does anyone have experience with either of these (or both) and could give an opinion as to which would sound better (highs/mids). (Also, any potential risks such as overheating).

Cheers,

cLutch
