What does two 15's sound like in sealed box?

Hey, I only have experience with a single 12" woofer on 2500RMS in a ported enclosure.

Was thinking about two 15's in a sealed for my next thing. Around the same RMS.

I think I'm over the whole loud thing, and just am looking for something that goes deep and sounds clean.
Was thinking about 2x15" Fi Q's sealed.

How would something like that sound? Would you feel more air movement on the lows than a single 12" BTL ported?

Probably something like BOOOOM, BOOOOOM, BOOOOOM

and BUMPFH, BUMPFH, BUMPFH,

and maybe even BUH_BUH_BOOOOOM, BUH_BUH_BOOOOOM..

If you get BJONK!!, BJONK!!, BJONK!! though, the box may be too small..

LOL I knew I was going to get a response like that..

Was hoping someone has had the listening experience to compare how two 15's sealed would sound versus a single 12" ported, or even two 12's ported.

Honestly there are too many variables at play. One vented 12 can be extremely impressive. But then so can a pair of sealed 15s.

Reality is that you likely have a finite amount of room you are willing to give up for your enclosure. Your best bet is to model the various woofers and designs on a box program in that space and see which appears to be the best choice.

i agree with dukk, you'll have to look over the mechanical specs to see which woofers work good in the space you have also make sure that your amp just doesn't just have a lot of wattage, to control a large mass like 15in cones you wanna make sure you have a good dampening factor, it takes a lot of current to control large woofers properly
