Smile Alpine 7909 #291/300

After a long search, numerous bumping threads, I finally got my Holy grail Alpine 7909 30th anniversary model, #291/300.
Anyways, I havent installed it yet, so heres some pics.

i would say yes. While I'm as much of a collector as the next person, these units need to be heard to be completely appreciated. once its dead then you can have it displayed in a collection without power.

Depends, what will it be connected to? Not worth to install a piece like that if the remain of the system can't accurately reproduce what the deck is sending...

Plain and simple, best sounding unit ever made (in 1988-89). Heck it was so good that Alpine manaufactured the same exact model again in 1997 !

But I mean, what makes it the best sounding unit, why would you say that?
Pre-volt outputs ... equalization within the unit?
Just something they did better back then, compared to now?
