couple of years back I was at a car show and guy had a nice ride with an amazing sound system. The bass sounded clean and hard. I visited with him little and he had won many audio contest. He showed me his bass setup. Couldnt believe it! HE had a bunch of 4 inch JL speaker mounted under his front seats. Ive kinda getting back into car audio and wanted to know if anybody has seen or has a setup like this. Ive looked around online but havent found anything. Thanks

 

I ran eight 5 1/4" woofers in a 79 Honda Civic... it pounded REALLY good

multiple small drivers have a TIGHT sound to them but the low end extension is
very weak due to the short excursion


winning an audio competition is more about the install than the equiptment

...you will get better results easier with a proper enclosure and a good woofer
