hi gang i have a customer who has a boat and wants to run a sony deck, on the left side and have a sony wired remote run around the front of the boat and connect on the right side so he can control the deck from that side of the boat....... if i can remember right, sony made a rmx2 joystick remote with a 6 ft. cord...... does anyone know if sony makes an extention for that remote say 20ft??? if they dont can i just use a 1/4 inch jack with a male on one end to a female on the other end or is the cord more involved than that???

 

Dude - that thing has to have more than a regular mono or stereo 1/4" plug on it.

Is he stuck on Sony? Clarion has some cool marine stuff..
