I am about to buy an Alpine w205, and would like to buy from a forum sponser if possible. Crutchfield.ca, the Canadian site, has them for $900 Cndn., and 2001audiovideo in Ontario for $1000 installed. They are both authorized retailers, so full warranty. ebay has them for 650-700 USD, plus 50 shipping, but I figure I'll go authorized with an Alpine warranty.

I live at least 2 hours from any retailer, so I've not been into any store. I fly to Ontario thursday for a week, so could get one there, but prefer B.C..

I have searched this site. and the retailers who support it, but can't figure out who sells this.

And yeah, I've been guilty of lurking, reading, and very little posting for years. But i drink lots, and drop into #5 Orange St. now and again

I havent seen any of the people here advertising as alpine dealers, which is a real shame... hopefully someone can help you out.

 

yea its kinna weird there doesnt seem to be many alpine dealers at all on this site

 

I think its because Alpine may require a large buy-in of stock, which would obviously limit their appeal to a smaller business, although it is too bad as I hear good things about some of the dealers on this forum.
