Old skool alpine R's

i got sum of these for a trade. wondering if they any good? stupid me i assumed they were DVC's but they are not. so im wondering if i should keep them, or what? any ways follow the link

They're good units, they handle power WELL, sound good and put out the SPL too. Great daily driver sub.

jesus at least one person replied. and i think i may switch mine out with these to see what they will do. im skeptical at best.

Theyre good subs, and were always highly respected in professional reviews... plus there are a LOT of them still around and still pounding hard.

the thing that get me is the SVC. would these handle 500rms daily?

how do these qualify as old school?
when were they made?
Anything prior to 1997 would be considered old school kinda imo.
