2000 Alero 2 door. doing door speakers. how do you get the window crank off? ive never had such a problem with them before. they usually just pop off, not this one. im damn sure there isnt anything im forgetting but maybe im wrong?

Can anyone tell me how to get the damn little things off?

if it has the c-clips behind the crank (as on most gm vehicles) you can use the old trick of pushing in the door panel and trying to hook the clip with a coarse rag.....

i fianlly decided to buy the crank removal tool as i have 2 gm vehicles that i remove the door panels occasionly the tool can be purchased at canadain tire near the aftermarket window cranks it cost me around $5 and makes door work a whole lot less stressful
