Speaker Connection Question???
Hi yall,
I am ready to buy a hifonics bxi1206d amplifier for a 12" mtx 9500(dvc)
Here's my question......
The hifonics amp has 4 speaker outputs (2 POS AND 2 NEG)

If I have the DVC sub and i wanna wire it at 2 ohms, How do i wire it with the 4 outputs?

The two outputs are there to help with wiring dvc subs. They are NOT seperate outputs, so it doesn't matter which positive and negetive you use. to get a 2 ohm load, you could either wire the dvc in parallel inside the box, and have 2 wires (pos and neg) go to the amp, or you could run each positive and negetive from each coil to the two sets on the amp.
What do you geniuses recommend:
Wire the box in parallel and take the pos and neg to the amp OR Take a pos and neg from each voice coil and take it to the amp?
BTW
Thank you for the advise!
