Hey all... some of you have seen my threads on the 08 escape. Ill bring you up to speed.

To date ive installed a 7541a Infinity amp, got some Morel 6.5s for the front doors (thanks forbidden) All the wiring is in etc.

Now this is my girlfriends truck. She wants a sub but doesnt want to lose much space. Do any of you think a little 6 or 7 inch sub that puts out 200 wrms or so will be enough? She is not looking for ground shaking bass... but more of a compliment to the the morels. Whatchathink??

Personally, for a single sub, I would recommend a small 10". I think you will find a single 6, 7, or 8 lacking a little bit. THis is coming from the person who has been playing with different 8's for the last 6 months.

 

Work the problem backwards. Figure out the airspace that you will be able to use, then we can choose a 8" or 10" to suit the application.
