I have a 2001 Grand Prix GTP that takes 5.25" in the doors. I know a few others that have fit 6.5" in the door successfully with some minor modifications.
I am looking at getting some 6.5" components, now I know I shouldn't have too much trouble installing the driver, but what have people done with the tweeter?
My stock tweeter location is up by the top part of the door, separate from the driver.
I have been told by a few that aftermarket tweeters are hard to install in that location, because it is usually a tight fit.

Has anyone installed the tweeters in that top location, or have you put the tweeter in another location?

Anyone have ideas?
