hey guys, I have a panasonic cq-vd7003u that i picked up and am having a major problem. It is hooked up, all connections made as per the book, yet there is NO sound. The screen and all controls work, yet no sound.

my speakers are fine, all connections seem to be made properly. I have grounded the parking wire to by pass the safety feature but this can't be it.


I am stumped! any help is appreciated.

Are you getting anything on the speaker level out, or are you talking no output on the RCA's.

If it's no output on speaker level, unhook all the speakers, grab a test speaker that you know works.. turn the deck off, hook the speaker up to one channel.. if you get output, then keep adding a speaker 1 at a time. When you hook 1 up and the deck turns off, then you have found your problem.
