When in doubt , use a battery , hold one wire to the negetive, and start randomly touching wires, not the proper way, but it will get you by!! Or you can touch each end with an ohm meter(dmm set to ohms) and when you finally find 2 wires that set it off, then just use a battery to find POsitive and negetive!!

OR!!

Chances are also that this vehicle has a factory hidden amplifier that needs to be bypassed. It is located behind the right rear quarter panel.

When you find the hidden amp, you should be able to color trace the wires from the cd player to the amp. You should also be able to color trace the wires from each speaker to the amp. From there it is a simple task to figure out what wire goes where.

Thanks. I would much rather replace the wire that is in there if i have to how ever, since its the smallest speaker wire i have ever seen(@ the dash).

Your best bet is to lay new wire to your speakers in general!! that is if your upgrading the speaker itself, it not, then just chase the wires from the amplifier, like everyone here has mentioned!! I had to do this in a Crown victoria, I honestly wonder what Ford was thinking when these were madE!!

IF you choose to use the factory wire, you can buy a harness that connects the input harness on the amp to the output harness on the amp to bypass it. Most car audio installers should have it in stock.

I know I can run new wire from the deck to all 4 doors faster than taking the back apart and messing with all that though.
