15" l7

i am getting 1 15 L7 and im wondering what amp i need for this?

Depends on what voice coil configuration you have.

If the coils are dual 4 ohm you can wire it to a 2 ohm load and use a KICKER ZX 1000.1 amp on it that would be a perfect match

or the alpine mrd 1005 or pioneer d3000spl or the newer PRS-D1200SPL.

I'm planning my next car already and i'm going to go with two 15L7.4's each with a PRS-D1200SPL, plus a small amp for rear and a big 4 ch for active fronts.

Looks like the one you are getting is a dual 2ohm, you will need an amp that makes 800-1200watts RMS at 1 ohm.

ps thats a AWSOME SUB!

You ask whats best, not whats cheapest, or even what would make most sense.

PRS-D1200SPL, 1200wrms @ 1 ohm.
$377 on ebay, $399 @ woofers etc. I'd pay the extra 22 just on principal...

Thats great considering US list 699. Can list 799.

But like i said before, I'd get 2.

I just ordered the same sub (15" kicker L7) im trying to figure out what amp i should get aswell... i dont wanna break the bank buying it... and does anybody know if im gunna need 1 gage or 4 gage wire? and is my 1 battery gunna be enough? im running a few neons through the lighter socket aswell... advice is always good
