not really audio, but still 12v... question about remote starter

so i was browsing around canadian tire and found a great deal on a basic starter with keyless entry.
my wife is always complaining about how i have one in my trailblazer, but her car has none so i picked it up ($59 on sale, cant go wrong!)

it'll be going into my wifes car, a 2005 grand am, which has factory alarm?/keyless/trunk popper.

question of the day is, do i need to buy anything else like a harness/module to make this install go smoothly? anything along the lines of that ridiculous gmrc-01 module/harness i needed to install her head unit? do i need any special interface to make it work with the factory keyless or trunk popper? i dont care if i loose the factory alarm (i think it has a factory alarm, if it does,it's crap anyway)
a local shop will be doing the installation, but i would like to have everything ready ahead of time to save on costs (cheaper to get any other parts on my own, then to buy through them)

does anyone know?
if it helps, the starter is a Prostart from crappy tire, i believe the model number is a ct-3310

You will also need a bypass module.

You need one that is for the vehicle, all bypass modules will work off any remote start system.
