West Amp and install place

Hi, i was wondering what kind of amp i should be getting. i listen to all kinds of techno and DnB so my friend said i should get a 4-channle amp so that my speakers wont get distorted. is this true??

And also where is a good place to get installation done in Edmonton.

What do you want to do? A four channel amp would be good for your front or interior speakers, and then you'd want another amp for subs. Or, if you want a little less junk in the trunk, you could get a four channel amp, run two channels to cabin speakers and bridge the last channel to a sub. That would work too.

As for WHAT you should be buying, take your pick. JL is reliable stuff and you can get some pretty good stuff used (for example, my 10" sub with amp from JL that I have for sale for $450!). You could also go Hertz, MTX, Alpine, whatever sounds good and is in your price range.

My favourite shop is Method Acoustics in Sherwood Park. Give Garrett a call @ 449-0666 and he'll hook you up!
