I have to chosse between a alpine 10inch SWS-1022D and a fosgate 10inch P210D4. I know the fosgate has a bigger magnet and accepts 250 watts rms. The alpine accepts 300rms and i think is 2 ohms or w/e. Can someone please tell me which is a better sub. i probably will buy 2

out of the two, I'd go with the Alpine. It'll sound pretty good, and they have a fantastic warranty. When I had my Rockford P3 I had to send it to Ontario 3 times!

 

I have 2 10" rockford P210d4

and from what I hear they are awesome subs and they pound really good.
I can't wait to get mine hooked up.
Alpine is awesome too, top of the line alpine stuff only though.

 

Fosgate hands down!!!

 

If you had to send your sub back 3 times to get it repaired then chances are you were doing something wrong with it.

(unless it was a straight up manuf. defect, which I doubt happened 3 times)

 

i would get neither of them , but if i had a choice i would just flip a coin and call it a day

 

i too think this ,but how are you going to use it SQ/spl ?
if spl PM absolutecaraudio and see what he knows (some days it mite not be alot .........LOL) he is a good one to ask!

I am partial to Kickers, i bought a pair of 10'' kickers in 1988-89 ya 88-89
they have out lasted all my other speakers, they still sound awesome!
they were rated the best for sound quality at the time( on the cover of car
audio magazine) so i bought em... check a pair out
