k well i got my front's running off my first amp and the 6X9's off the deck. but when i go to listen to the music, i hear more from the 6X9's then i do the 5 1/4. the amps is an apa250. could any one give me a hand with this. im a bit confused as what i should do. i know i forgot to set the gain. and i was not quite sure as to what i should set the Hz **** to. i have the cross over and bass boost both in the off position. this link is the owners manual for the amp

Turn your crossover onto HiPass and set it to 150-200hz.
Leave the bass boost off.
Put on a 'loud' song and turn your deck up 3/4 of the way.
Fade the deck to the front so the 6x9s are not playing.
Turn up the gain until the fronts distort - then turn the gain back down a bit until they sound good again.
Later if you find that heavy bass notes make the fronts distort you canraise the crossover frequency until it stops.
