does anyone know the resonance frequency of a grand caravan 02. or even how to mesure it. and as of sealed boxes the frequency is pretty much flat right?? if it is does that mean i can tune the amp to a prefered frequency ????

 

cabin gain is generally boosted at 6db/octave...... sealed box response generally falls at 6db/octave......

what are you looking for ? getting into SPL ??? tune the amp ?? LOL..

 

i would like to try and get a high spl for the fun of it but its mostly just to tune the amp right so it sounds good

Last year I competed with a 98 grand voyager and the best sounding box I built was tuned to 38hrtz, and did a respectable 149.6 db (thats when it was a daily driver) but to actually get the van loud I tuned up into the high 50's but that was with a wall so if your just looking for a respectable number that will sound good i'd say tune to around 38hrtz
