place to mount amp on cavi

hey guys, i was fiddlin around with my car last night and trying to find a good spot to mount the amp. my conclusion was to put it on the back of the rear seat(folds down).
so i felt around for anything under the material that could i could screw my amp onto but it was all solid so i took the fabric off the back(velcro:S) and it was a black plastic piece over it all. it was fairly stable, my only concern is would the 1/2" screws go through the seat and hit your back?and also is that 1/8 plastic enough to hold an amp.

lastly, the amp would be just past 90 degrees at like 105-110 degrees, facing down a little bit. would it cause it to overheat?
its an ultra linear 1500x amp.
thanks for the input!
toodles!

The angle is ok! Tons of people have mounted their amps on the backs of the rear seats!

Just remember to bring your wires up from under the seat, so it can still be folded down.

I've had an amp into the plastic, it should be fine with as big of a thread as you can get.

If you can, bring your wires under your fabric of the back seat an exit at the amp for a cleaner look,, but you'll have holes in your fabric if you take it out!

ya thats the only problem, i want my car to be as stock and untouched as possible, i`ll probably keep the subs and amp for my next car as well.
so i dont want to make holes in the fabric, i`ll just run them straight down, neat as i can. i want it clean but not permanent u know?
