My Kenwood is equipped with a pair of non fading pre-outs. I believe they are for the mono amp. Should they be used or should I take the standard rca out to my 300/2 JL then from that to the 500/1 amp.
What is the major advantage of non-fading pre-outs

Run your sub amp off the non-fading RCA ouput. The non-fading output is meant for subwoofer amplifiers. I know my Kenwood deck has low pass crossover selections for its non fading output along with a level control. Very handy when listening to different music or when your girlfriend freaks out 'cause the music's too loud.
