2 singled DINs mounted in 2DIN hole?

Hey guys
Ive got a 95 Jimmy that has a double din opening.
I would like to install both my single din HU and my single din motorized LCD in the opening.
My question is, what is the best way for me to fabricate a mounting bracket?
Am I best to combine two single DIN brackets?
Is there a relativily easy DIY I can do to fab it myself (I have SOME skills, lol)?
Maybe some linke or some pics and de.f some advice would help!
Thanks guys!

I didn't think the 95 Jimmy came with a double din hole. IIRC it's a standard 1.5din..

IF you can make it fit, I would start with a standard kit so you get the right mounting tab locations and mod it.

The 94-97 (gen 2 phase 1) came with a double din.
The 98-02 (gen 2 phase 2) came with a din and half (and then the 03+ went back to a double din.

Thanks for the info. I kinda thought that starting with a standard kit might be the best route to go.

Has anyone done this on any other type of vehicles with a double din?

Thanks
