Well I have found 4 that are all in a similar price range, and all have similar qualities, but I was wanting opinions (all are welcome) on these, as to performance, ease of use, and durability.

Pioneer AVH-P5700 - Approx $950
Clarion VRX755VD - Approx $950
Kenwood KVT717DVD - Approx $1050
Panasonic VD7500U - Approx $1100

They are all brand new units, come with everything. Just kinda getting a feel for the $ - value standpoint. Seeing as I currently have nothing right now, I am looking to get one right away hopefully.

 

A alpine iva-d310 can be had for around 1500 including taxes if you can find it. I know of a place that had and still might have an iva-d300 for 1000 plus tax in edmonton. Very sweet deck, I am very impressed with my 310.

 

I'm using a Clarion VRX745VD and it has been an awesome unit for me. Great picture and very nice sound. Bought off Ebay for $700 US.

 

the clarion and pioneer are both really nice caus eyou can bypass the video block and they are a single piece unit, no brainbox so they just install like a deck baby.

 

the avhp5700 is one of the best i've used.
