I have a kicker zx460 and I'm going to be running a mid class sub on it. it'll be running at 2ohms.
I'm curious to know how you guys have found your kicker amps to be running subs.
I really don't want to add a 3rd amp to my setup. So if the kicker can do the job with decent power and clarity, I'll be really thankful.

It'll be fine. AS long as it is 2 ohm stable and will put out power that is in or around that of your driver it will be fine. No different than any other amp.
