I've just installed installed an aftermarket Clarion CD player in my 2001 Dodge Dakota using the proper wire harness and when I turn unit on, I get no sound from speakers...anyone know why? I know unit works cause I've tested it indoors

the speakers may have there own little amplifiers(infinity)try connecting the blue remote wires(h/u to adaptor harness)

 

Does the HU have a defeatable internal amplifier that needs to be turned on?
