I've been offered a deck at good deal...But one thing I need to know is if its remote compatible and if so,where can I get a remote....

Its an Alpine CDM-7874...Is it a good deck...everything I saw by it seems to be decent...Dual outs, 50x4,etc...Right now I'm using a Pioneer DEH-2400 with a 3400 face...

Would appreciate any input before I decide...

Yep......Went right to the Alpine website...looked thru the instruction manual and found nothing...

Is there a better sight to check?

 

Yeah...And my Pionner didnt come with a remote either....But its remote compatible...

Thats really I'll I'm looking to find out...

Whats the chance..dont laugh...ok.laugh...that my Pioneer remote would work on the Alpine?

One way to know for sure I guess...

Tried the deck out tonight....its now in the car...lol...

Great deck...Asked a couple people and they are pretty sure it is remote compatible....

Just so ya know...I got a deal on this thing that only an absolute idiot would pass up...remote or not...

I leave it at that...

I assume you want the remote for competing with? I don't think a remote will work with it, if it did not have one originally I don't think the deck would have the IR eye needed to accept the signal from the remote control.
