Speakers Wired Incorrectly...Damaged?

I wasn't able to find my wiring diagram for my car so I took a guess. Found out I was wrong after I found the wiring diagram. I had them wired up for 2 weeks use. I never blasted it as I'm awaiting an amp to be sent to me from another member. Think I caused any damage to them? I had the positives and negatives on opposite @ the speaker.

phew... thats the message i wanted to see. I'm going to disconnect them soon, and switch them. Thank You.

You will lose bass and image focus with speakers wired with incorrect polarity. 80% of the population would never even notice.

phew, that makes me happy, when i took out the JBL speakers from my civic and replaced them with my alpine i couldnt sell positive/negative, so i put them on both way and they both sounded fine, so i left it as it.
