3 Amps...3 Subs...1 Box
no no you cant
NO you cant!!
there is no such thing as identical amps. all amps put out different power . if your amps are a desent brand then will come with birth sheets and they will all have different power ratings. there for each sub will be moving different from each other there for you will be in to cancelation. which is bad. this will make your system sound like **** and you will lose some volume..
the only way around this is to set the gains with a DMM so that the power levels are all the same. go to JLaudio.com to find out how to do that.
and also with a box with 3 subs in it that will be some larger pieces of wood so you are gonna want to have bracing in the box so puting dividers is a great way to do that.
with out dividers the box will flex and that is not good either. a rock solid box will give you better sounding bass and louder bass.
if you are building a ported box then you will have to port each sub

Well i didnt read the question porperly, the 3 subs can be run in the same shared chamber. But yes, put bracing in the box, that is standard with any big box. I ran 2 10s on identical amps, 1 per sub, for about 16 months in a shared ported chamber. Matched the amps up with a DMM and never had a problem.
