Hi everyone,

So my old Clarion VRX745VD in dash unit finally bit the dust and I just got a new install with a Pioneer AVH-P4000. They basically took out the Clarion and put in the Pioneer and everything works fine except the Xbox connection. I get audio perfectly from the Xbox but the video comes up in grey and black horizontal lines. Any ideas about what could be going on?

Remember that everything worked fine with the Clarion...

 

Update:

I took my car back into the installer today and they messed around with it for a couple hours. They tried everything! Finally as a last ditched attempt they tried grounding the actual RCA cable running to the head unit. Voila! Crystal clear Xbox goodness direct to the screen.

Case closed!
