I just bought some 5.25' alpine type R speakers and am wondering if it would be a good idea to build an enclosure for them. I am installing in a 1990 accord. Two speakers will be going in the front doors and 2 in the rear shelf.

Can anyone tell me the size of the enclosure which would give me good base response.

Puting the mids in a box will make them sound better and protect them. The will need just a tiny box. Probably under a quarter cube.
