Ouch man - You'll be hard pressed to fit enuf box for a SINGLE Stroker 15 in there, let alone TWO
Biggest box I have been able to sneak through the opening in one piece is about 4cuft. That's about good for one. Anything bigger and you'll have to assemble it in the trunk...

Turn your entire trunk into a box with fiber glass Double or triple up on the rubber surround of the trunk lid to ensure a good seal. The trunk is about 12 cubes, then with the drivers, ports, and walls that you will be building you will be down to about 10 cubes. 5 cubes per 15.
Go for it!

Thanks Dukk ok heres the scoop My seats fold down and yes i do plan on building the box in my trunk i dont care if the whole trunk is Filled up i cant really go the fiberglass route definately gonna have sealing issuse however. i dont care if the box goes right to the back of the trunk and right to the front just wondering on ideas for size of the box and ports. ( i will be moving to a wall later on and using the opening my seats offer as an extention of the box but im not ready to give up my back seats since they fold down i can let the subs LOOSE to rip my car apart when im carrying no passengers and when ppl are sitting in the back i can give them one nice burp and have them thrown out the front windsheild when they hit..... one more thing of coure u know the subs will be firing forwards with the ports between them(at least this is what im trying for) the only thing im going to have 2 large rectangles (vents) i guess as the ports dont know what i should tune them to yet though
Mr.Hale, most of us have done sealed and ported boxes in vehicles. Sealed is easier to make sound good, but like most things in (car)audio things are not an exact science, especially true in sub box design and integration into a particular vehicle, as most often the vehicle itself plays a very big part in the design of the sub-bass system and the front stage installation.
Many car audio fans design and re-design their sub enclosures and front ends to see what sounds the best, often finding magical combinations through trial & error, involving a lot of fiddling around with placement and aiming of the enclosure, ported or sealed or otherwise (bandpass, isobaric...on & on) amount of fill and all kinds of other variables ....a TRUE challenge as every install is truly unique.
Welcome and very nice to have you aboard, I look forward to hearing your ideas from the high end home front since what will start to happen if you really get into this (car)stuff is you will begin to apply the vast knowledge you already have in new and exciting ways, but geared to autosound. Should be fun!
Have you ever listened to a very high calibre car system tuned correctly? It's different but that doesn't mean it has to sound like a bathroom or even a car for that matter. Check it out.

IMO it would be easier, faster, and cost little more to seal the trunk from the car and use the trunk as the enclosure than build a full on trunk box. Tuning it is done on the fly afterwards but it's easy.

so your saying to seal the trunk??? how would i go about that though? this is where i would get stuck yuli and chris should be helping me out to do this install but both have boxes and i think it would be kinda hard for all 3 of us well 2 of us not sure about chris helpin out but yuli is 100% for sure
why not just make a wall but so your back seats can still go up? doesnt seem hard.
Q: wouldnt it be good if he just sound proofs the trunk with dynomat or somthing, and had the wall not to far forward, back enough so the seats go up still. than it would be like using the whole trunk i guess like 12cubes... why is there a need to fiberglass?
