PVC port mounting....
Hey guys, I'm going to be putting 3 4" round PVC ports in the side of my box to raise the port area from 16" to 37" for my Inhuman. How do I go about sticking these PVC pipes to the box though? I'm not good enough with a jig to make perfect 4" holes so my question is how do I mount these things to the box? Theres no lip or anything I can screw them on with, any ideas? Cosmetics does not matter. Thanks.

Use a hole saw attached to a drill.
Or I have seen at audio shops ports that are made for sub boxes only a few bucks
I used sewer drain PVC pipe for a bodies box it has a lip on it and threads, it was great you could vert the port length

I used 4" pvc pipe (the white stuff) .........I picked it up at home depot
trace the pipe on the wood then use the jigsaw but cut inside the line .......
it will be a bit tight so just use a rasp to hog out the hole untill the port goes in real tight
we had to graes up my port and then drive it in the hole was so tight ......... but it never moved after that
if the hole's a bit loose wrape the end with electrical tape till it's tigh in the hole
you could drive a couple staples through the edge into the wood after it's in place too it you want
or
buy an aero port with a flange ............ so much easier..........but mor expensive

i know how to easily cut a perfect hole. find the centre of where you want the hole. drill a hole, then take a piece of wood and drill a hole in it, put a nail thru both boles so that the piece of wood will rotate, drill a hole in the end of the wood 2inch from the centre hole. use a router or rotary tool and just follow the rotating piece of wood around for your perfect circle. it's like using a compass in geometry
