I just installed a set of infinity components (605cs). the problem is that when i turned on my stereo, the tweeters worked fine, but the subs were just crackling and not making any good sound at all. I doubled checked all my connections, but i can't seem to figure it out.

Help, please!

 

anyone have any suggestions? i don't want to go to the shop and get overcharged!

 

try hooking the speaker directly to the amp with out the crossover. try hooking another speaker up to the amp, that will check the xover and the amp channel
