do i need a relay?
I currently have 3 amplifiers and was curious about whether I needed a relay or not. I read somewhere that it wasnt completely necessary if I was not running many accesories from my deck's remote turn on wire.

Opinions anyone?

You might be ok. I ran 3 devices (2 amps, 1 x/o) off the deck remote and all was fine. It depends on whether the deck can put out the remote power needed to turn on the amps. It isn't much, but does vary from amp to amp. I've realised a relay isn't that hard to install.

George thinks that for the cost of a relay you should always relay the remote turn on lead of the head unit. George knows that if you do overload the circuit and you blow out the remote lead it can be a real headache to have it fixed and or live without.
