Has anyone ever had any problems with mounting an amp on a sub box.I have two amps mounted on a shelf between 2 separate boxes, but it is 1 solid unit.I read somewhere that the vibration is not good for the amps, could rattle connections loose, etc.

You will be fine...There is no more vibrations on a well built box than anywhere else in the trunk.

i think teh biggest problem with putting your amps on your box is its easier to steal everything at once

Soundstream, 4-6 years ago, threatened to void warranty if it was mounted to a sub-box...

I would sooner have an amp mounted to the box or a rack then mounted to the floor of the trunk..

My amp is mounted on a shelf that is mounted to the box..

Just my 2 cents..

I remember 10+ years ago when Soundstream amps would blow before the customers car was even out of the shop. Shame because when they worked they were excellent. Kind of like an older Ferrari....

These are older Rodek amps. The ones that look like a big heat sink.
