Kinetik Power Cells ?

Today while picking out/pricing equipment for a new system, the dealer at the store that I was at showed me what he called a "power cell" that can be used in place of a cap.

Any one using these devices, if so, how well does it work for you ??.

My planned system in question is two amps, 150x4 and 780x1, a rewound alt. and Optima battery, and wired with 1/0 gauge power cables both + and -.

Yes it replaces a cap or your current battery. I see your budget is 10 grand, that is an extremely large budget for the equipment you wish to have.

It's planned to be used in place of a cap, and as a lead acid battery, it's hooked up in parallel with the main system instead of hooked up like a battery isolator, also according to Kinetik, it places a low load on the electrical system. Thus the reason I'm asking questions about it.

A top of the line Clarion HU, two large Zapco amps, and Focal speakers, plus installation can demand a good size budget, i spent 2-3 years building my budget up from cash, stocks, and tax returns... :-)
