Does anyone have a site or know where I can purchase female RCA jacks. My deck has a video and two audio inputs, and I would like to mount the female jacks through some dash plastic.

I was hoping to find some that have an outer nut that can be pushed through holes that I drill, and fastened tight with the nuts.

The deck does have the female ends on short wire leads. The plan is to cut these off and solder to the newly installed jacks. It will make accessing them much easier and cleaner looking.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried radio shack? They are great for odds and ends connectors like that. I have about 10 of them kicking around my parts cabinet. i got mine from irrepairable stereo equipment. I gutted them for just such an application.

As another option you could mount a pair of double female RCA barrel adaptors (how PC ) in the dash and use a short patch cable to go from your deck to the backside of the connectors.
That is a great idea! I didn't realize something like that was available, I will try and find them.

Thanks

They also sell them on ebay (shipping will be more than the RCA plugs), and most cable maufacturers sell them (for a pretty dear price)
so Radio Shack looks more attractive to me.
