I have no sound deadening in my car and it rattles like a *****. I was told to turn my box around and fire it inside the cabin. Its dual vented. How effective is doing this and will i lose any bass?

You will likely find it to not be as loud.

I found when I was moving around my sub that every angle made a difference, as did the advice I got from this forum on that specific topic as well.

Facing out of the trunk (facing the tail lights) seemed to be the loudest.

Made the back rattle a lot but you can find cheap and/or expensive ways to fix those rattles.

And then again it could come down to personal preferance. Some people have said it sounds louder to them when facing in the cabin because its directed at you. Makes sense to me.

IMO personal preference, but there is a difference in each way you face the sub.
