Here is a quick picture to describe my question.

When using a slot port does it matter where (on the port) the port exits the box? The measurements used were just to show that both ports are the same size. Are there calculations that can be done to port it like "B"?

If the port is right at the bottom of a box and there is a board that extends out from the bottom of the box, does that effect the port? Basically the bottom piece of the sub box extends out 4" past the face of the box.

Thanks for any help.

Later,
Brad

Thanks Paul,

It sure adds a lot of variables when building ported boxes. Sealed is so much easier.

Between trying to save trunk space, port the box properly and in the right location, and making it look good, I am tempted to go back to sealed and be done with it !!

Thanks,
Brad
