I've seen some speaker adapters out there, they look like ABS plastic. Would that be a good solution to mounting the subs in a 6x9 opening? Are there better solutions?

Those Elemental Designs subs are the one's I picked up. $50US per on a group buy, a great deal. I had originally been looking at the JL 6W0s, but they're not recommend for IB applications. They recommend the woofer that comes with their component set (650CWs I think).
