Any chance that you just had the alarm installed? Not to point fingers at all but perhaps a extra remote was coded to your alarm. Do you still have the second remote that the alarm came with or is it now "missing"m, if so start the search amongst any "friends". Was the alarm set for silent response / page only? Was there a hoodpin that they lifted the hood, disconnected the battery and then did their work? Sounds super fishy if you ask me.

now thats some good info this happened to my firend he got an alram installed and a week later it went missing right out of his driveway like $10k in equipment. I was in the shop later in the week looing to get an alram for my car when I spotted my buddies CD walet on the managers desk.

I said nothing as they didnt know I was friends with him yet I went out in the shop cause no one came to the show room when I came in and what was that on the floor but one of his amps and his deck sitting on top of it. I got my quote and left went right to my friends house and told him what was up needless to say we got all of his equipment back and sent the dirt bags to the hospital for a few days in self defenece of course:smokin: .

im getting my alarm as soon as i install my new gear but im super scared of installers adding a second remote to the alarm and then knowing what all my gear is....im thinking of installing myself and taking my time and making sure i do a good job...then at least i kno no one else has a remote for my alarm....:sly:

if i was that concerned that much personnally i would take some time and drive an hour or 2 to a town or city away from my own,the odds of sum1 driving that far just to "find" a vehicle is probably unlikely
