Not my gear that got ripped off, saw that post and thought I would put it up on here.

 

Sounds like they caught the guy, he was trying to sell the gear over on Revscene, here is a cut and paste as you have to be logged in over there to view threads:

It has come to my attention that a Revscene member was trying to sell two high end, rare amplifiers on here recently. Turns out, they were stolen from a car on November 19th that was up in Vancouver on vacation from oregon. The owner of the amps put an ad on Craigslist saying that these amps were stolen and that he was going to give a reward for their return. Someone from revscene spotted the ad and called up the original owner. Police were involved, amps were returned and it is now an ongoing investigation which I can't really talk about. The member has since been IP banned and his Karma has been permanently covered in feces.

Bottom line is: If you rip somebody off, you will get caught eventually. Good keeping an eye out guys!

 

Jeez, posted on RevScene, imagine that. I'm still banned over there (don't miss it at all though)....imagine a nice guy like me getting banned by a moderator that told me to F**k Off. I really hope to meet that clown one day soon. Good to hear that the gear was recovered though.

it's great when the system works... I hope all the assclowns that steal stuff out of people's cars, get whatever is coming to them..

I got banned a year ago and have no desire to go back. If that is how the owners of the site feel is the way that the site should be run and their moderators should act, I want nothing to do with it at all. Golden Boy.....smart a$$ aren't we today Paul?
